Description

Contains handwritten notes for talks and lectures given by Harold Earle Riddiford.

The first notes were for broadcast by the NBS network on 7 June 1953 and relate to his first meeting Sir Edmund Hillary and the First New Zealand Himalayan Expedition of 1951. They second account concerns the 1951 Everest Reconnaissance Expedition. There are also further outlines for talks and notes on expeditions. One listing records various mountain peaks and their heights.
