Photographs taken by Andy Spain between 2016 and 2020 of people and building interiors from around New Zealand. Comprises documentary portraits of artists (Stan Chan and Bob Kerr) and shopkeepers, as well as interiors of historic buildings (including marae, hotels, cinemas, clubs and dance halls), shops and artists' studios from Auckland, Wainuiomata, Wellington and Whanganui. Includes photographs from the projects 'Love is Understanding' and 'Cuba People'.

British photographer specialising in architectural photography. Based in Wellington, New Zealand since 2015. Started practicing photography after studying an MA in Photography at the London College of Printing. Runs a podcast interviewing New Zealand photographers and supports the One Percent Collective. His photographs are held by the Library and private collectors, and he has exhibited in Britain and New Zealand since 2001.
