Description: Transparencies of herb plants probably taken by Lorna Rowland. Some photographs were taken in the herb garden in the Wellington Botanic Gardens and other at Otaki. Includes one image of a herb-covered seat, in Otaki. Mounts are labelled with the date and the name of the herb depicted; two are labelled with the location of the plant (either Otaki or Wellington Botanic Gardens); one is labelled "Cook" (probably indicating that it was taken by Walter Cook). Mounts have had red dot stickers with numbers attached, which have detached as the adhesive has dried out. Title supplied by Library. Arrangement: Originally in small plastic slide box labelled "Slides for Reads Property of L. Rowland". Transferred to transparency sleeve working from front to back of the original container.
