Five envelopes posted to Miss Barbara Knapp and Mrs Knapp, from Whangarei, Wanganui, Masterton and [Kai Iwi?] between 1943 and 1948.
The illustrations are of:
V for Victory (showing aircraft, tank and battleship; Two copies - 1943 and 1945)
"United we stand" (flags and servicemen of New Zealand, Britain and the United States; 1944)
New Zealand bellbirds (1946)
New Zealand kingfisher (1948)
Stamps on four of the envelopes are 2-penny stamps showing a Māori whare; the fifith envelope's stamp is of King George VI.
