- Description
All images taken in the Northland area, probably Mangōnui Harbour and Kaitāia. The first four images show young Māori on a wharf, probably at Mangōnui. The following views show Māori men and women in a shopping street, probably in Commerce Street, Kaitāia. The premises of "Allied Farmers" are seen in the background in frame 5, and in the same image a banner is strung across the road "[F]our wheel drive rally". A man and woman with a baby are seen in frames 5 to 10. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
