Shows scenes at a Ringatu meeting on a marae in Ruatoki North, Bay of Plenty, New Year's Day, 1973. Three negative frames feature an older woman (kuia) wearing a moko kauwae. Three negative frames show people sitting at a table eating a meal. Four negative frames show people sitting on the porch of the wharenui (meeting house).
Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
