- Description
All views taken in Wellington, probably in and around the Newtown area. Frame two shows the premises of Habercast on the right. Frames 3 to 9 show a man slumped on a step beside a dairy advertising Leed lemonade, and TipTop. The carillon is visible in the background of frames 7 to 9. In frame 10 two young Maori men are looking on while a third man is lying on the ground possibly fixing a flat tyre. Ballinger Industries Ltd premises are seen in the background. In the final two images a man is seen sleeping on a grass verge above the road by a wire netting fence. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
