Radio interview on the programme `Take 5', Radio 2YA, Wellington. Winnie Long was from Middlesex and chaperoned children being brought out to New Zealand from Great Britain after World War II. She made the trip in 1949 possibly on the ship `Rimutaka'. Talks about the scheme, the trip and her work. Describes staying in New Zealand about a year before returning to Britain and then coming back to New Zealand on retirement.
