Scenes at Hui Topu, the first all Aoteoroa Anglican Maori hui, taken in May 1962, by Ans Westra at Turangawaewae Marae, Ngaruwahia. Unless otherwise stated all persons are unidentified.
Images consist of:
- Two kuia sitting on a porch with children.
- A kuia sitting on a bench, rolling what appears to be a cigarette.
- A crowd of people sitting outside, amongst them are kuia.
- A kuia sitting amongst a crowd of men, all of whom are standing.
