Panoramic view of "Aototara" farm and homestead in a valley near Kumeroa. Single-storeyed farmhouse in the middle distance centre left, with verandahs, finials over gables. Shelter belt of macrocarpa trees to the right of the house, garden with trees and sloping lawn, and a road running across the centre of the image in front of the house. Narrow river curving round paddocks in a deep cutting in the foreground. Newly cleared hills in the background with tree stumps still standing. Photograph taken in the 1920s by Robert Percy Moore.
