Description

Colour transparencies of birdlife, sailing, and local scenes taken by James (Jim) Watt in Chile during the Totorore expedition, circa Jul-Dec 1983.

Set includes images of turkey vulture in flight, a white-rumped swallow, and a Magellanic penuin on a nest (at Guafo Island). Also images of snow dusted hills [fjiord?], boats "lanchas" beached at low tide and a fishing boat full of makerel (at Puerto Montt), and Calbuco and Osorno volcanos seen from the water.

Inscriptions: Note from depositor reads: "Slide box labelled Santiago - also not totally true to label!".
