The Politician approaches Max with a document 'Here's my one point plan to reduce the holiday road toll'. Max asks 'One point?', to which The Politician responds 'Stay home'. The holiday road toll was prominent in the media in January 2015, particularly the percieved failure of the New Zealand Police's zero-tolerance on speeding campaign. There were 17 road deaths over the 2014-2015 summer holiday period.
