Description

Pamphlet lists 20 items or groups of items, as well as 16 other unnumbered items. Objects included kete, belts, cloaks, waist-mats, pingao leaves, kiekie leaves, ropes and fishing nets and lines, poi, feather-work. There is a quotation from William Colenso about the role of Maori women in preparing food, cleaning fish, collecting shellfish, seaweed and herbs, weeding, gathering crops, cutting and dressing flax, weaving flax objects.
