- Description
Cartoon depicts Japanese butchers cutting up bloody whale meat in a Tokyo butchers shop. They are mocking the statements made by Foreign Affairs Minister Murray McCully concerning Japan's return to whaling. Accompanying note from the cartoonist reads "Japan's defiant desire to resume commercial whaling, so soon after the ruling of the International Court of Justice in favour of the whales, is dishonourable. And Murray McCully's limp tut-tut is laughable".
