Description

Poster promoting Rotorua as a tourist destination shows a scene in Rotorua. Three Maori women are in the left foreground, two of them weaving at a taniko frame, the third standing holding flax leaves. In the right foreground is a pataka on a tall pole, in front of a carved whare. In the left background a geyser plays high into the air.

Attributed to King because of preliminary sketches sighted in King's papers (reported by Peter Alsop, May 2014)
