Description

Cartoon depicts Labour party Economic Spokesperson Shane Jones with bird droppings on his head, deposited by a green seagull. Commentary from the artist states "The only problem with Shane Jones' rapid-fire tongue is that, in a single hyperbolic burst, it's capable of taking out both friend and foe. Cartoon depicts Shane Jones and (in the guise of a Green mollyhawk) Gareth Hughes. Refers to Jones criticising Green MP Gareth Hughes on Radio Waatea for "carrying on like a mollyhawk" in his opposition to mining iron ore off the West Coast.
