The Minister of Building and Construction, Maurice Williamson, is depictd as a child reclining in a paddling pool labelled 'Commonsense', and containing virtually no water, saying 'I don't need a fence coz there's less than 30 cm in here!'
In December 2013 the Minister of Building and Construction, Maurice Williamson announced that there would be changes to pool-safety laws to make things simpler and safer for all. Many felt that the main thing lacking in pool-safety laws was commonsense.
