The aide tells The Politician that 'the digital tsunami is creating unproductive, distracted workers.' The Politician is on his smartphone and does not hear the Aide, who decides to text his stement to The Politician instead.
In July 2013 a workplace productivity report from Australia suggested that Stress and overload from cellphones and email are causing workers to be unproductive for an average four hours each week. This was affecting all members of the workforce - including politicians.
