The Aide informs The Politician that he has received two envelopes containing white powder, one of which was flour, the other baking powder. 'If someone throws an egg at you you'll have enough ingedients for a cake'.
In July 2013 there were several cases of people receiving through the mail envelopes of potentially deadly white powder, all of which proved to be harmless. The most notable victim was Peter Dunne, the leader of United Future Party. The cartoonist suggests that Dunne, as a widely unpopular politician, may well receive an egg, delivered in the traditional fashion.
