Comprises photographs of the bronze horse Pegasus, known as The Will to Peace, being lowered by crane onto the Wellington Cenotaph. Taken in 1931 by John Charles Welham Mutter in morning prior to an afternoon ceremony for the mounting. Scaffolding still on Cenotaph. Bowen Street buildings visible in background.
Collection includes one photograph of marble mason John Mutter with his son John Charles Welham Mutter as a child. Also another, possibly of John Charles Welham Mutter as a young man, with an unidentified person
