Notes and typed transcripts of Charles Empson's journal kept aboard the `London' in 1842. Also contains a typed transcript of James Kelham's journal on the `London.' The journals discuss the weather and conditions aboard the ship, and offer brief descriptions of other passengers, illnesses, and deaths aboard the ship. Also includes a passenger list for the ship.
