Description

Shows a range of violent actions, including grasping for cash, amongst a diverse group of figures including a wizard, a dragon, a dwarf and a child. Comments on the politicisation of the film The Hobbit, its commercialisation, and the way it has become a warring ground for interested groups. The cartoon suggets that this is at odds with the spirit of JRR Tolkien's writing which promoted union amongst Hobbits (ie different interest groups). On 26 February the Government released documents revealing discussions between the film's director Sir Peter Jackson and ministerial officials. Ref:http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/breaking-
