Description: Pamphlet describes the 1912 journey undertaken by Arthur Chorlton (journalist), Ernest Gilling (photographer) and Harold Richards (driver) from Wellington to Auckland along a non-existent route through the King Country. Shows the 1970 driver Ray Ivin and Mrs Pam McLean in the Model T Ford roadster to be used in the re-enactment. The back cover shows a map of the route, and the approximate timetable of the 1970 journey. Quantity: 1 colour photo-mechanical print(s).
