Description

Cartoon comic strip shows two trampers in the Fiordland region. One tells the other about an antisocial former DOC employee, Hugh Woolston, who had been in these parts looking for the South Island kokako, and they wonder what became of him. Behind a tree a man in fur skin waits, and kills both trampers with his knife, thus ensuring that noone will ever find the orange wattled South Island kokako, as they perch on his arm in this sanctuary which he calls "the last of Paradise!".
