A small boy learns that the word 'ta lofa' means 'hello' in Samoan. He has a wicked idea and calls out 'Fa Goff' to Phil Goff, the leader of the beleaguered Labour Party. Phil Goff is astounded. Context - As Samoan Language Week events are celebrated by Samoan communities living around the planet, this years Samoan Language Champions demonstrate that Samoans are a global family or aiga, Race Relations Commissioner Joris de Bres said today.
