Description: Programme and word book for a Maori concert, shows a photographic portrait of a young Maori woman in traditional dress on the front cover, and a stylised carved face at lower centre. Inside are the words of the Maori songs sung at the concert, with parallel English translation. There are also portraits of Miss Joan Young (Public Service Queen), Miss Thelma Mark (Govt Dept Princess), and on the last page a group portrait photograph of members of the Ngati-Poneke Young Maori Club with handwritten annotations identifying each person. Solo performers named in the programme include: Miriama Heketa, Corporal H Tahiwi, Witarina Harihi, Henare Tahiwi, Mere Black.
