Description

After the trip to the Yangtze gorges time had run out for Marie Byles, Mick Bowie, and Marjorie Edgar-Jones. While they began their journey home, Dora De Beer, Kurt Suter, and Fraser Ratcliffe returned to Mount Sansato. Their purpose was to try and retrieve the gear abandoned in the snow. But during this episode they also climbed the 5,900 metre Mount Geena Nkoo. This photograph was taken by Dora during this phase of the expedition.
