Cartes de visite portraits of unidentified individuals, taken ca 1879-1885 by various South Island photographers including Hart, Campbell & Co of Dunedin and Invercargill, American Photographic Company of Dunedin, Price & Hartman of Timaru, and Waimate Portrait Gallery. Most of the photographs are of individuals but there are also images of two women who appear to be sisters, a woman with a baby, and a couple possibly on their wedding day.
