Description: Black, white and purple-coloured poster designed by band member Matt Campbell shows a comic illustration of band members (two guitarists and a drummer) performing, and the name "Ballon D'Essai" superimposed over the illustration in irregular letters. The text gives the number FN 007, which is the Flying Nun number for the band's 12 inch EP "This is the level crossing". National Library catalogue record for "This is the level crossing" states that the disc was accompanied by "Ballon D'Essai's Ballon d'comic, No. 2" which contained comic strips written and drawn by the group.
