Holograph original of William Colenso's journal, from 31 May 1833 to 28 Jun 1834, written on the backs of opened envelopes addressed to the Collector and Comptroller of Customs at St Ives, Cornwall. Also a Typed transcript 1 May 1833 to 31 Dec 1834, a copy of which is held at 88-103-1/16. Included are a number of original poems in Colenso's hand.
