- Description
A copy by Amos Baigent of an illustration by Thomas Ryan in New Zealand graphic, 11 April 1891, page 1, showing "Otaramaria [Otaramarae] Bay, Lake Rotoiti", and attributed there to Thomas Ryan. Shows two flax bushes in the foreground, and a post to the left of them. There is a whare with carved gables in an enclosure down by the lake at the right. The view looks along the narrow lake with bush-covered headlands and distant bush-covered hills.
