A rocky headland and an island showing a pierced rock.
There is currently no island with a pierced rock close to Miramar Peninsula. It is possible that the 1856 earthquake raised the land between the Peninsula and the island and that it is now part of the shoreline on the east side, where there are several large rock formations.
