Photographs of Armed Constabulary encampments in the North Island, taken ca 1860s-1870s by unknown photographers. Collection comprises:

Snow-covered landscape with armed constabulary redoubt (left background) and houses (centre background).

Fife and drum band inside redoubt. Instruments also include triangle and bugle.
