Description

Crowd awaiting the Coronation procession in Christchurch, 1937. The procession was to celebrate the coronation of George VI, King of the United Kingdom, and Elizabeth, Consort of George VI, King of the United Kingdom. The crowd is all lined up along the street, and there are people standing on the roof of a building which overlooks the crowd. Photograph taken by Thelma Rene Kent in 1937.
