Description

Photograph of Te Teko Mahuta taken circa 1903 for the New Zealand Government Tourist Department by an unidentified photographer. Half length portrait of an elderly Maori man. He has a facial moko, and is draped in kahu huruhuru (feather cloaks). The cloak on the right is a kahu kiwi (kiwi feather cloak).
