View from the water shows some sixteen canoes each with a triangular sail, and a sailing ship at the left. In the distance is a hilly landscape.
Date and identification of sailing ship taken from State Library of Victoria catalogue (Retrieved from http://www.slv.vic.gov.au). This site also identifies the location as Vanua Levu, and states that the engraving appeared in the Illustrated Australian news, published in Melbourne by Ebenezer and David Syme.
