Shows an "invoice" from the George & Gordon garage to "Any motorist", lisitng the price of customs duty, tyre tax, surtax, registration fee, license fee, driver's license, number plates, petrol tax, duty on lubricating oil, and sales tax. Comments that "the load of motor taxation in New Zealand has long exceeded all reasonable bounds".
