Grindell, James, 1823-1900 : Journal

Journal includes details of negotiations with Maori over land purchases and methods used by purchasers, including McLean, in southern Hawke's Bay, Wairarapa and Manawatu. Grindell's associates included Cooper, Kempthorne and William N Searancke.
