Description: Comprises two edited transcripts of interviews by Dr Roberto Rabel with Sir George in Wellington, 22 Jul 1996 and 29 Jan 1997, discussing aspects of Sir George's involvement in policy-making re the Vietnam War. In the earlier interview Sir George describes his political and career development from 1944 when he joined the Prime Minister's Department up till the late 1960s.
