Photographs of the opening of the Wellington Bridge Club in 1933 with about 30 tables of four in a function room; a large group of students including some men in shorts so it may an athletics club, in front of a spectators' stand with a memorial clock; James Malcolm Mason and his son crouching next to arum lilies beside a house; health department officials Dr J M Mason and Dr Gilruth (Head of the Animal Division) standing in a doorway; James M Mason sitting at his crowded desk in his study; a studio portrait of Malcolm Mason as a young boy in 1901; a sub-section of the 27th Field Artillery of the NZEF grouped at the end of their barracks with their beds, kit bags, boots and other equipment laid out; and three of the Victoria College representatives at the Inter-University College Debating Tournaments in 1907, 1908 and 1909.
