According to a website at http://www.nzicecream.org.nz/history-nz-brands.htm, listing brands of icecream in New Zealand, the Snowdrop brand was being manufactured between about 1942 and 1970. The site at http://www.nzicecream.org.nz/history-nz-1970.htm has a photograph of Mr Ian Paterson standing in the doorway of his shop in 1955.
