Copied from a watercolour by Hamley's superior officer, E. A. Williams 'View from Razorback [1864] in E. A. Williams' notebook in the Hocken Library, p. 13. (The Turnbull holds a slide of this view)
The name Razorback is not in current use for any North Island location, apart from Razorback Ridge, part way up Mount Taranaki. Hamley is not known to have climbed Mount Taranaki
