The right side of a two-part panorama with A-292-052. This section of the image shows the Paekakariki Hill Road winding down to Paekakariki and the Kapiti Coast. The left section (A-292-052) shows a soldier reclining on Paekakariki Hill, beside the road, looking north up the Kapiti Coast with Mt Taranaki appearing above the horizon on the left. The soldier is smoking a pipe and has a bundle on his back.
