Description: Poster listing all the events to take place at the regatta at Stewart's Gully, north of Christchurch. Entry fees and prizes are also listed. According to perpetual calendar, date could be 1924, 1930, 1941, 1947. The Christchurch Regatta is documented for 1897 and 1936 (see Jim Renaut's \"History of Canterbury Rowing Club\" (Christchurch 1987), pages 164 and 171). The A M Hale papers contain another dated poster for a Stewart's Gully regatta in 1946, making the 1947 date most likely. Quantity: 1 b&w photo-mechanical print(s).
