- Description
Album opens with photographs of German paratroops landing on Crete near Maleme. This is followed by seven photographs from German sources showing German convoys on the way to Crete, German aircraft waiting to take off from airfields in Greece, and German soldiers looking out of the aircraft. There is also a photograph of British marines in a harbour preparing for an attack from the sea.
There are photographs of the Crete News, photographs taken in 1968 from positions in the Maleme area Crete, troops bathing and parading at Baggush Egypt. The rest are photographs of the war in the Western Desert, including 14 colour prints one of which has a sign "Tobruk" in English and Arabic
