Description

Series of postcards of Hamilton taken by G Cartwright: children swimming and playing in the lake; cars and a bus travelling along Victoria Street with shops on either side including a billiard room and a dentist; the traffic bridge, with the railway bridge in the distance over the Waikato River, with river boats moored next to it; Soldier's Park; the cenotaph; a steam train going over the railway bridge; and the traffic bridge with parkland in the foreground.
