Description

Street scene outside the Golden Age Hotel, Hokitika, photographed by Tait Brothers in 1867. Shows men on the footpath outside a row of business premises including the Evening Star and the tobacconist Marks and Fuerst. The two storied hotel is in the centre, with a first floor verandah.
