In the first of three horizontal panels an Australian axeman is shown felling trees as kangaroos and birds flee; in the second panel cattle drain the water from a stream and in the third a man battles against a huge dust storm and wonders how this happened. Refers to the recent major dust storms in Australia that swept through NSW and Queensland and that resulted in dust being blown as far as New Zealand. In Queensland, the dust spread from the state's southeast to Cairns in the far north, with the town of Surat experiencing 200m visibility, the lowest in the state.
