Papers, both personal and literary, including correspondence with other New Zealand poets and writers, notably Allen Curnow as well as general correspondence with a wide variety of other people and with publishers and printers. Also includes papers relating to the production of `The Quaffer's gazette', a periodical produced by New Zealand Breweries.
The papers concerned with Alexander Turnbull Library reflect the fact Glover was, for a period, the President of the Friends of the Turnbull Library.
