In the foreground is a television camera. Photograph taken circa 1977, probably by Charles [Vencel?], staff stills photographer at South Pacific Television in Christchurch, circa 1977. Source of descriptive information - Library client identified the name of the production as 'Vintage Murder', the location, the photographer, and the information about Dame Ngaio Marsh being an extra. The image had formerly been wrongly identified as being on the set of 'Opening Night'. This photograph was taken when Dame Ngaio visited the set. She was asked if she would like to be an extra and can be seen sitting in the audience shots of the film. 'Vintage Murder' showed on New Zealand Television in 1977.
